My own music video proposal for Van Halen's 1983 hit song, 'JUMP.'  Oh, the presumption.  The original groundbreaking video directed by lead singer David Lee Roth set the standard for performance videos and was nominated for three MTV Video Music Awards winning, 'Best Stage Performance.'

  

Undaunted and following a winter trip to the Soviet Union in 86 the heart of Red Square becomes enlivened by some Californian hard rocking sunshine; Lenin on vocals, Trotsky on lead, Stalin on bass, Molotov on keyboards and Marx on drums.  There was an idea to include Lincoln as symbol of detente and Cold War thaw but Gorbachov got there first.
